Charlotte was admitted to the bar in 2006, and joined Leidsegracht Advocaten in 2008. Prior to this, she worked as an attorney at Baker & McKenzie for two years.
Charlotte specialises in intellectual property law. At Baker & McKenzie, she gained broad experience, in particular in trademark and design law. At Leidsegracht Advocaten, she has expanded her speciality to include copyright law, domain name law, advertising law, and media and entertainment law. Other legal fields in which she is involved are the law of obligations, property law, competition law, and international private law.
Charlotte studied Business Law at Leiden University, with special studies in the field of intellectual property law. During her study, she held various management positions and organised a national legal conference for students of law. Charlotte speaks and writes English fluently and, to a lesser extent, French and German.
Charlotte is a member of the Dutch Association for Intellectual Property.
